Cleans by the counter current principle.

The cleaning action is intensified by electronically controlled pulse intervals for the standard movement holder that is supplied with the machine, this can hold up to six un-dismantled watch movements. The movement holder carries out rapid reciprocal movements whilst submerged in the liquid and the counter current produced ensures maximum cleaning efficiency. These counter current rotations are infinitely variable via a built in automatic controller. The watch movements are fitted vertically in the holders that are independently sprung in their bearings thus enhancing the cleaning performance.

The RM90 can also clean dismantled movements by means of the optional wire mesh basket . Watch components can be cleaned in the simplest manner by using the rotation process. The wire basket changes direction every 5 seconds, clockwise / anti-clockwise, in order to ensure maximum circulation and cleaning. The rotation speed of the basket is variable by means of a built in manual speed controller.

The RM90 is suitable for cleaning both mechanical and quartz movements, assembled or stripped.
