Ideal-tek S.A. was founded in 1968 by Franco Grisoni and Marco Grassi as Ideal-outils S.A. to produce and sell precision tools for the watch, electronic and micro assembly industries.

In 1979 ideal-outils S.A. changed its name to Ideal-tek.

In the 80’s the new assembly technologies from electronics to mechanical engineering constantly point toward more and more complex miniaturization and in 1998 Ideal-tek S.A. moved its plants in Balerna to increase and automatize production capacity.

In the 90’s Ideal-Tek expanded the R&D capability in order to meet more complex customer requirements. Consequently Ideal-tek has been the first pioneer in special plastic and ceramic tweezers for high demanding electronic and laboratory applications.

In 1994 Ideal-tek obtained the ISO9000 standards.

In 2001 Sandro Grisoni, Franco’s son, took over the Management to preserve the Ideal-tek company philosophy and at the same time Alberto Gotti, as production engineer, joined the company to continue the innovation make-up of Ideal-tek.

In 2003 Ideak-tek obtained the ISO9001/2000 Certification.
