Kapton tape is 25 micron and is coated with a clear silicone pressure sensitive adhesive on one side. 33mtrs supplied on a roll. Tape width is 9mm. Kapton is backed with a clear silicone pressure sensitive adhesive and has been successfully used at temperatures up to 400° C and only begins to char at 800° C. These properties result in a tape with remarkable dimensional stability and excellent electrical and physical properties over a wide range of temperatures (-8° C to +370 ° C). Application Adhesive Kapton tape is an insulation tape for extreme temperatures, with excellent resistance to thermal radiation. This makes it ideal for masking Gold edge fingers and edge connectors during soldering and reflow soldering processes within the PCB assembly industry. Along with this the Horological industry benefits immensely due to the resistance to friction and temperature during the valeting process of watch servicing. Simply add the tape to the area to be protected by cutting to shape. Availability Kapton Tape is available in 3, 6, 9, 12, 19 and 25mm width rolls. Each roll is 33 metres long. Kapton Dots are available in 4, 6, 9 and 12mm diameter and supplied per 1000 dots.
